Hardware fluency
Deep configuration experience with Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant for both hypervisor nodes and storage. We know which BIOS knobs matter, which firmware levels are stable, and which combinations have caused problems.
Storage choice, not dogma
Ceph for horizontally scalable clusters, ZFS for single-node and replication-heavy use cases, Blockbridge SAN for latency-critical shared storage. We also integrate with customer-owned proprietary SANs - existing or new. Pure Storage, Nimble/Alletra, and NetApp are commonly deployed alongside Proxmox VE via iSCSI or NFS. We'll recommend based on the workload, not a datasheet.
Migration experience
We've moved enough customers off VMware and Hyper-V to know where the traps are - VM conversion, network parity, vSAN replacements, licensing cleanup. Scripted, scheduled, repeatable. How Richweb uses PBS
HVENS uses Proxmox Backup Server as the backbone of our offsite backup and DR story. Customer VM disks replicate via PBS from the primary Ashland, VA site to our secondary DR facility in Denton, MD - encrypted, deduplicated, customer-key-held.
We also sell PBS as an offsite backup target for customers running on-prem Proxmox clusters, and as the core of our HVENS Vault BCDR appliances.

The subscription provides access to the stable Enterprise Repository (tested updates and security patches) plus direct support tickets with Proxmox engineering. We strongly recommend a subscription for any production environment. If Richweb is managing your environment, a subscription is required to back the SLA we offer.
