01 -- WHY PARTNER What the relationship actually looks like

Richweb has run infrastructure for other businesses since 1995. We built HVENS because MSPs kept asking for it.

You know what a bad vendor relationship costs - the surprise bills, the ticket queues, the account rep who can't answer a technical question. We built the partnership to be the opposite of that: direct engineering access, predictable pricing, and a platform we run ourselves so we're never guessing at your problem.

Direct engineering support

When something needs solving, you reach the engineer who can actually change something - not a tier-1 script reader. We've carried customers for 10, 15, 20 years because we take that seriously. Your escalation path is the same team that operates the hypervisors and the network.

Windows Server and Active Directory escalation

Separate from cloud support, Richweb's internal MSP practice is available as an escalation resource for clients with complex Active Directory environments, Windows Server deployments, or broader Microsoft ecosystem needs. If a client issue goes deeper than the hypervisor, you have a team behind you that has managed Windows infrastructure for businesses for decades.

Pricing you can build an MRR on

Flat monthly cloud pricing with tiered reseller discounts - no egress surprises, no per-second billing math, no reserved-instance puzzles. You mark up, invoice your client, and the number is the same next month. Discounts increase as your volume does.

HVENS Cloud Customer Console

Every partner deployment includes the HVENS Cloud Customer Console - a single interface that manages both HVENS Cloud resources and the client's on-prem Proxmox nodes together. Hybrid clients don't juggle separate logins; everything is in one place, scoped to their environment, under your brand. We stay invisible unless you want us visible.

03 -- THE PROXMOX PLAY Turn VMware renewal shock into a practice

Your clients got the VMware renewal bill. You can be the one with an answer.

Since the Broadcom acquisition, VMware renewals have become budget events that MSPs have to explain and defend. Most clients aren't asking for VMware - they're asking for their workloads to keep running at a price that doesn't require an emergency board meeting. Proxmox is the answer, and we can help you deploy it.

How the play works

  • We migrate the environment. VMware-to-Proxmox conversion, scripted and scheduled, with network parity and licensing cleanup included in the plan.
  • Managed Proxmox nodes at the client site. Proxmox VE deployed and managed on the client's hardware through our on-prem IaaS practice - you're the face, we handle the platform.
  • DR back to HVENS Cloud. Proxmox Backup Server replicates the client's on-prem VMs to our Virginia data center. One-click recovery in a matching Proxmox environment. No rebuilding from scratch during a disaster.
  • You keep the client relationship. Richweb is your subcontractor and engineering bench. The client sees your brand and your invoice.
  • We're a Silver Proxmox Partner. Direct escalation to Proxmox engineering, pre-release access, and subscription resale at partner pricing we pass through to you.

Before

Client is on VMware ESXi. Broadcom renewal lands. Cost doubles or triples. MSP is stuck explaining a vendor decision they didn't make, with no alternative to offer.

After

MSP migrates client to Proxmox VE on their existing hardware. Richweb handles the migration engineering. Client pays a fraction of the VMware cost. DR replicates to HVENS Cloud. MSP picks up a monthly managed services line for platform management.

Every reseller starts at Bronze and moves up as volume grows. Tiers unlock deeper discounts on all HVENS Cloud SKUs - compute, storage, connectivity, and object storage. 06 -- WHAT YOU CAN RESELL The full HVENS stack

One platform, everything your clients need to run on it.

Every product in the HVENS catalog is available to resell under your partner agreement. Bundle what your clients need, mark it up at the margin that works for your business, and invoice them under your brand.

Cloud VMs

Windows Server and Linux VMs at Bronze, Silver, or Gold compute and storage tiers. Per-client provisioning, consolidated billing to you. SPLA licensing available through us so you don't need your own Microsoft agreement.

Offsite PBS backup targets

Proxmox Backup Server targets in HVENS Cloud for clients running on-prem Proxmox. Encrypted, deduplicated, client-key-held. Sell it as the offsite leg of their backup strategy without standing up your own infrastructure.

DR as a service

Cold and Warm DR posture per workload. Cold is included with backup - Warm reserves compute and storage at our Maryland DR site for workloads that have to come back fast. We build the recovery runbook with you; you sell it as a managed DR offering.

Managed on-prem Proxmox

Per-asset management of Proxmox VE hosts and PBS servers at client sites, on hardware you source or we source together. You provide the client relationship; we provide the platform engineering. Pair with HVENS Cloud DR for a complete story.

Object storage

Stratus private object storage (S3-compatible, HDD tier, no egress fees, hosted inside HVENS) and managed Wasabi public cloud storage integrated with Veeam or PBS. Resellable as a backup target or general object storage for client workloads.

DNS, TLS, and add-ons

Managed DNS per domain ($5/mo), managed TLS/SSL via Certbot ($5/mo) or GlobalSign wildcard ($12/mo), connectivity via DIA or our managed OpenBSD Gateway. Round out client deployments without adding vendors to your stack.
